Strategy Settings
Symbol A / Symbol B — These are the two coins you select for trading.
Timeframe — Selects the candlestick interval on which backtesting and, consequently, subsequent automated trading will be performed.
Bar Count — 1 bar = 1 candlestick. This defines the number of historical candlesticks used to run the backtest. The maximum is 50,000 bars.
Z-Score Period — The default value is 300. Determines the distance between deviations (spreads). A higher value means greater distance between entry levels.
Margin (USDT) + Leverage + Position Size — These three parameters are interconnected. For example, if you set a Margin of 100 and Leverage of 2, the Position Size will display a value of 200 (100 * 2).
Commission Rate (%) — The commission fee accounted for in the backtest. It is applied both on entry and exit.
Entry Levels (+/-) — These are the levels at which the strategy enters a position. The level values represent the degree of deviation of the pair from its initial correlation. By default, these are set to +2, +3, +4 and -2, -3, -4.
Exit Z-Score — The deviation level at which your position will be prematurely closed
DANGER
Please note that the strategy cannot detect which margin type (Cross or Isolated) is set as your default on Bybit. Keep this in mind, as for isolated trading, high leverage can adversely affect your trading performance. We do not recommend setting leverage higher than 1.
Additionally, if you still decide to trade with high leverage, be aware that one of the coins in a pair may not support such leverage on the exchange. In this case, the pair will not open positions.
